Research that
ends as a
fielded system.
Inštitut Ronin is an engineering institute for unmanned platforms, tactical networking and operator interfaces. We take requirements from concept through prototype, field validation and into production-ready hardware — under one roof, on programme timelines.
Capabilities
An R&D partner, not a catalogue.
Most of our work never appears on this page. We build to requirement — for armed forces, integrators and civil-protection agencies — and we keep the entire loop in-house: mechanical, electrical, software and the field time that proves it all works.
Unmanned platforms
Multi-role aerial systems engineered around the payload and the mission profile.
Tactical networking
Ruggedised, battery-agnostic IP hardware for quick field installations.
Ground control & HMI
Hand controllers and GCS architectures built on COTS rugged tablets.
Aerial data & processing
Mapping missions, photogrammetry and LiDAR processing — Arctic to Adriatic.
Testing & validation
IP-rated design, environmental testing and structured field trials with end users.
Build & test as a production house
Building and testing platforms end to end as a production company — small-series manufacture, assembly and quality control under one roof.
Proof of capability
The RONX line.
Every RONX product began as a programme requirement and earned its place in the field. The line exists to show what the institute can engineer — select a unit to open its file.
Partner network — research & industry
The institute
Small team.
Whole system.
Founded in February 2024 in Senožeče, Slovenia, Inštitut Ronin keeps mechanical design, electronics, software and field testing under one roof. That is what lets a requirement become flight-ready hardware in months — and what keeps the people who designed it standing next to you at the trial.
